ScanToChat provides a platform that enables businesses to create branded AI-powered chat interfaces for customer support. The Service includes:

  • Branded chat interface accessible via URL and QR code
  • Knowledge base management for AI responses
  • Chat history and contact extraction features
  • Customizable branding options

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password confidential and secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

Pricing: The Service offers multiple subscription tiers (Solo, Essentials, Pro) with different feature limits and pricing.

Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.

Refunds: Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Distribute spam, phishing content, or misleading information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Use the Service to provide medical, legal, or financial advice without proper licensing
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, knowledge base documents). By uploading, you grant us a license to use this content solely to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by ScanToChat and protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-Generated Content: Responses generated by the AI are provided "as is" for informational purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI outputs before relying on them.

7. Service Limitations

  • Usage limits apply based on your subscription tier
  • AI responses are generated based on your knowledge base and may not always be accurate
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
  • Features may be modified, added, or removed with reasonable notice

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCANTOCHAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScanToChat from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
